Nimbus  #

Introduction  #

Nimbus is a convenient Chrome extension that allows you to easily create screenshots and pictures. There are several different ways to create screenshots and the built-in editor allows you to edit and annotate the screenshots in a variety of ways.

Installation  #

Step 1  #

If you have created a “Hawaii Aquatics” profile, start from a Chrome browser window with this profile.

Click the blue + ADD TO CHROME button located in the upper-right corner.

Step 4  #

A pop-up will appear - click Add Extension.

Step 5  #

The extension will then be installed and added to your Chrome browser. After the installation is finished, a new tab should automatically pop up.

This page provides an overview of some of the basic features of Nimbus. Feel free to read and watch the tutorials if you would like to learn more about its various features.

Step 1  #

Click the Nimbus Screenshot & Screen Video Recorder icon located in the top-right of your browser.

Step 2  #

Depending on the type of image that you want to create, select the most appropriate option located under Nimbus Capture. Entire page is a good option for capturing the entirety of a web page. Take note that some Nimbus Capture features may be disabled on certain types of web pages.

Note: Choosing Entire page is inadvisable if you are currently browsing a web page that has no finite end. If you are unsure, confirm that you are able to scroll through the whole page yourself using the window scroller located in the right side of your Chrome browser.

Step 3  #

Wait a few moments for the extension to render and create the image.

Step 4  #

A new tab will automatically open up containing the newly rendered screenshot. There are various tools that can be used to edit and manipulate the image if necessary.

Step 5  #

Edit the screenshot if necessary, then click the blue Done button.

Step 6  #

After clicking DONE, you will be redirected to a new page with the finished image. Click the Save as Image button if you are satisfied with the screenshot.

Step 7  #

A new dialogue box will appear. You may choose the location for your screenshot image to be saved and may optionally change the name in the File name field box. After you are finished with your options you may click Save to complete the process and download the image.
